Miami Vacation

So we couldn't get tickets to Hawaii 3 weeks in advance (go figure), but we still ended up getting a warm escape... in Miami, Palm Beach, and Key West!

At work today I was still lamenting leaving the warm sand and 85 degree weather, so here's what a "hard days work" looks like. Enjoy!

Paula!!

I've been an American Idol fan since Season 2...I LOVE the stupid show, but Paula is driving me nuts! Nothing she says makes sense...it's like she can't even form a complete sentence..

Aiya...Paula Paula..."straight up now tell me...do you really wanna [sound like an idiot] forever...oh oh ohhhh" lol

Typical conversations around the office:

Co-worker: "I went out for Chinese food at lunch, but I'll be hungry again in about an hour (chuckles)..."
Me:              "Heh" ....(thought bubble.."Cuz you're fat you racist pig.")

Co-worker: "So where are you from?"
Me:             "New Jersey, but I went to school in Boston."
Co-worker:  "No, where are you FROMMMM."
Me:              "I    am     from     (slow and loud pronunciation) NEEEWWW JEEERRSSEEEYah."

I'm going to break one day and just lay the smack down on them...

I got facebook a couple weeks ago and it's fun and all, but it's so hard to maintain. Frankly, I don't see the hype and I rather spend the time doing something more constructive than to do facebook. It's weird finding friends who I haven't spoken to in ages, but have to admit that it feels nice to finally connect to those I've lost touch with.

Since moving to Oregon I've been living a relatively austere, but happy life. I think I'm going to relish this a bit more before moving back to the fast paced, go go go attitude of the East Coast.

Btw, I saw Strange Wilderness tonight...don't waste your money! What was I thinking....
